Susan appeared in various films and TV series in the 1960's, however monster-kids remember her for other reasons. Sure she was in AIP's Dr. Goldfoot & The Bikini Machine and War Gods of the Deep, both with Vincent Price. As well as The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini, Pajama Party, Ride The Wild Surf and lets not forget the Slime People.
What she is most known for among horror film fanatics was marrying James H. Nicholson co- founder of American International Pictures with Sam Arkoff. Nicholson passed away in 1972, and she remained a "silent partner" owner of about 40 Nicholson-produced AIP motion pictures of the 1950s, later acquiring direct ownership of ten of these films, including I Was a Teenage Werewolf, I Was a Teenage Frankenstein, Invasion of the Saucer Men, The Amazing Colossal Man and It Conquered the World amongst them. These films have been out of circulation for years and don't expect her to put them out on DVD anytime soon; apparently she's asking for a ton of money just for releasing the films. With DVD sales waining and the market for classic titles drying up I can honestly say she waited way too long for them to have any monetary value today. It's a shame that because of her audiences are deprived of some fun AIP classics. Who knows maybe she'll change her business sense and release them...but she had better hurry up...the people who want these films aren't getting any younger.
